This is a Korean-made Epiphone Sheraton II in black with matching Epiphone hardshell case. The serial number dates this guitar to March, 2003. The electronics have been fully upgraded with a Mojotone ES-335 wiring kit (CTS pots, cloth wiring, Switchcraft jack, Switchcraft 3-way switch and Vitamin T oil-filled caps), Mojotone PAF Clone Alnico 4 pickups and Gibson gold top hat knobs. The guitar is in great shape for its age, with very minor scratches in the clear but no major dings, dents or gouges through the paint. The gold hardware has aged normally. The original pickups and pickguard are included. The guitar is setup with low action and 10's. This is a beautiful guitar that plays extremely smooth and easy and sounds great. $500 Paypal gift/money order and we split shipping.

Here's the specs on the upgraded pickups:

The PAF clones are designed for the PAF purist in mind. These are very bright and warm with less pick attack. The upper frequency range has exceptional bloom and lots of airy tone. We carefully selected the perfect blend of period correct materials such as our Alnico magnets, plain enamel wire, vintage spec screws, vintage braided single conductor wire, and nickel silver baseplates to replicate a true PAF pickup that sounds and looks like the very best examples from the past. All pickups are lightly wax potted to eliminate annoying feedback.
Hand-wound, Alnico 4 and Field-Charged options selected.
Field charging is a unique way to energize our humbuckers. Normally, a magnet is precharged before it is installed into a humbucker. The magnetic field is set in a uniform pattern. When we field charge, the magnet is installed unenergized. The pickup is fully assembled and placed in our capacitive disharge energizer. When the charge is released it energizes not only the magnet but the steel parts in the humbucker also. This creates a unique magnetic pattern in the magnet and focuses the field were it will be more effective. The net result is a slightly higher gain without losing clarity or bite. This helps to get a more driven tone without sacrificing the traditional qualities of a humbucker.
