These can be removed if you wish to have them fully floating. The trem blocking is extremely solid; I like to lock the D, G, B, E strings and leave the E-A strings open so I can drop tune whenever I want to. I prefer the sound of the 18 volt mod but the electronics cavity space is limited, so I spliced the connector to utilize the existing battery cavity and allow a battery to be in the electronics cavity. The blemishes are all cosmetic. This guitar shreds! An awesome guitar but just doesn't get enough play time from me. This finish is discontinued and nowadays the LTD 1000 series guitars come with the inferior Floyd Rose1000s. This is an Original Floyd Rose trem. This will come with ESP hardcase and trem arm.Jump on this before it slips away!$650 or best offer which includes shipping via USPS Priority Mail with Insurance and Delivery Confirmation. Shipping from Hawaii is quite fast. Refer to my itrader rating as I've shipped a handful of guitars to various states.http://www.sevenstring.org/forum/itrader.php?u=12359
