1977 Yairi DY57 Acoustic Guitar and original hardshell case.

This guitar was purchased new and was used primarily in my home for amatuer recording purposes. Structural condition is good. Comes with original heavy duty Grover tuning keys. Also, has a Martin Thinline under bridge pickup with endpin guitar jack. There is a plug-in style volume/tone control with a right angle jack which can be used along with the pickup. A strap pin was installed on the body near where the neck joins it. Although the strap pin was removed I still have it and the buyer can screw it back on if they choose. Appearance is fair with light scratches on the body. There are a few spots with dings/grooves on the back of the neck (lower octave) where a worn out capo was used periodically. The capo's screw dug into the neck wood, but did not seem to affect the playability. The beautiful woods of a bygone era have aged wonderfully and this guitar plays and sounds wonderfull with deep rich tones. I have found it records very good.
