Sweet little finger-pickin' blues guitar!

Very Good condition. A rare bird. Understated looks but plenty of mojo!

 

Short Scale 24.9"

1.75" nut

subtly silked Spruce Top

Dark Stained Mahogany back/sides (originally satin, but have been tastefully buffed out)

bound top/back

Unbound Rosewood fretboard w/microdots on the side/large dots on the board

W/B/W rosette

Added Dalmatian Pickguard (will include original)

Rosewood Bridge, bone saddle (will include a TUSQ saddle that was fitted to it)

Gold Tuners

Here's a great little axe that has that funky gibson honkin'tone -- great for writing songs, finger picking the blues, or easy strumming. With the K&K installed it makes a great live solo tool. The K&K is an awesome pickup. ***Click on my Myspace link in my sig line below and you can hear some sound samples -- Especially "Going down South" "Wintersong" "Down" is more of a mixed rock thing, but all the guitars were the Gibson -- amped up with FX and some not. (Arkansas Sitcom Theme Song is much older. No WM-00 there)

 

Guitar is in very good condition. Plays great and is easy to hold, comfortable.

Condition report:

does have a few dings which I have tried to capture in the pictures (I may not be able to capture them all with the digi-cam). One on the edge of the lower bout at the binding. also a couple on the face, and the usual wear marks. Also there is some finish missing at the junction of the neck and the body, but this is strictly cosmetic (no neck movement). All markes are strictly finish marks. Hey, it's a workingman's axe!
