Members Geert Hurenkamp
Hi everybody. I'm looking for some advice. My MIDI-USB interface is malfunctioning. Of course, I could buy a new one, but I own a XV-2020, which has an in built USB port for the transfer of patch data (sysex data). Could I use the XV-2020 as a MIDI-interface, daisy chain my Fantom-S via the XV2020's MIDI THRU port and transfer sysex data via the XV2020 to my Fantom-S? In other words: can I use my XV2020 as a MIDI interface? Thanks for responding in advance.

True. I don't have a dealer nearby though, so that's why my question and possible turnaround solution arose. We'll see...
