Members Hooday
Beautiful Takamine N10. All natural guitar. Solid cedar top with Mahogany back and sides. Satin finish, with naturally aged binding and rosette. An excellent guitar in every respect. Very lightly played with no major damage. (Light scratches and dings.) All the attention is on the sound and the player with this guitar. The cedar top projects a warm, dark tone, with crisp, clear highs. Wonderful for fingerstyle, with an emphasis on tone and control. (Not a strummer or hard picker, as there is no pickguard.) The binding and rosette have a lovely aged yellowed patina. There is a small case dent on the top, towards the lower bout, (which can be steamed out if necessary,) and the headstock has small corner ding. There is also a scratch on the headstock face. This vintage guitar was made in Japan during the late '80s. A special period for acoustic guitar production in Japan. A rare guitar, as you won't find many references to it online. Not many were produced, so its collectible as well. Here is a link to Tak's webpage. http://www.takamine.com/?fa=detail&mid=1087&sid=351# Here's also a link to a similar guitar, demoed by Brad Davis. Asking $675. Includes a hardshell case. Here is a link for more online photos. http://techfixed.com/photos/Takamine_N-
