Members jazzrat
I am the original owner of this Larivee D0-3e. SOLD!!! It features all solid woods. Very nice tight grain spruce top with maple binding. Sapele back and sides with some nice figure. Mahogany neck with bound ebony board. Ebony bridge and headstock facing as well as ebony tuner buttons and arm rest that I added (original buttons included). Onboard electronics sound great. Nearly new condition, just lightly played at home. The neck is dead straight with no fretwear. Truss rod operates very smoothly not that it has needed any adjustment since the first setup. It's been kept properly humidified and the neck angle is perfect. Since I am primarily an electric player I have the action set very low. If you have achy hands like mine you will love it. Even with light strings is has a beautiful tone that is very balanced bass, mids and treble. It's not a boomy dread, responds to a light touch but can be a cannon with a taller saddle and heavier strings. After neck surgery I am sensitive to the larger body size and would like to get something smaller maybe shorter scale or maybe a nylon hybrid. Comes with the flat top hard case that came with it. Lots more pics here: http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v206/jazzrat/Larrivee%20D-03e/ FYI the armrest comes off cleanly without any sun tan line or indication it was ever there. Happy to answer any and all questions. $895 Shipped and paypal'd CONUS Interested in trades for something shorter scale like a Seagull Artist or nylon string. Tele maybe... ??? Semi-hollow?
