Members boytexasgod Posted September 21, 2006 Members Share Posted September 21, 2006 I'm selling my '76 Traynor MKIII YGL-3 2x12 80 watt tube amp for $485 +s/h. If you haven't heard of this amp it's similar to a twin with the exception of el34 power tubes for a bit more gain/distortion and the benefit of point to point wiring. Vintage Traynors are the only PTP amps anywhere near this price range. This thing is built like a rock and still works perfectly with original parts. There is only some minor wear and tear but nothing major. It has two channels, speaker out, vibrato, spring reverb and boost. It's extremely loud, and now that I've quit playing live I have no need for such volume. Twenty-four reviewers gave it an average of 9.1 for overall rating in the HC reviews. I replaced the original speakers with Eminence Blue Tick Hound 12"s but still have the originals if you want them. The tubes were replaced last month. I'll ship it but would prefer local pick up around the Dallas area.
