Members musicnerd1023
Does anyone here have a superbone that they play that isnt originally a trumpet player? (no offense to all you trumpetters) I've just been considering buying one and wanted to know if it always had that kinda odd tone that it has in Maynard Ferguson's recordings or if that was just because he was usually a trumpet player. I mean I know that most brass players can play all brass instruments, but everyone has that one that they are best and at home on. so like i said i was just wanting to gather some opinions from people before i made the leap of buying one before i even get to play it. and i cant play it because i live in West Virginia and all the music stores within about 200 miles NEVER carry a superbone in stock. Thanks Guys

Members IndofunkCity
Of course, it is a Holton, therefore it sucks, and likewise so does the tone ....
