For Sale:

(1) ADA MP-1 Tube Guitar Pre-amp (used) 110 volt with the following mods:

ADADepot 3TM (3 Tube Mod)

MDRT Transformer

Rear Jack Conversion

Price: $450 plus shipping.

Payment: Paypal or money order or cash if it's a local deal.

Shipping: Buyer's discretion. I prefer UPS. Buyer to pay all shipping costs. Local pickup available or will deliver within 150 miles of Wilmington, NC for $30.

Condition: The amp is used (they were discontinued years ago) but in great condition. Functionally, the amp is almost flawless. The only issue is a scratchy volume pot. This is a small issue though because once you set the volume there is no need to adjust it from the pre-amp. Otherwise, the amp is in perfect working condition. Cosmetically, there is some minor rack rash on the top. The front panel is in great shape with no major cosmetic flaws.

All modifications were done by well known MP-1 technician MarshallJMP in Belgium (http://www.marshalljmpmodshop.net).

Currently there are JJ High Gain 12AX7 tubes in the unit with low hours on them.

A wealth of information on the amp can be found here: http://www.adadepot.com/ .

You can find sound clips of the ADA MP-1 with 3TM mod on adadepot.com or youtube. The amp is very versatile with tons of gain. The amp is a hybrid tube / solid state design. There are three modes, so to speak, to choose: Tube Distortion, Tube Clean, and Solid State clean. So the amp can give you the high gain tube sound you want but also pristine cleans due to the solid state clean mode. The amp can do everything from fender like cleans to Van Halen overdrive to modern metal high gain.
