Members r33k
Strange but true. I really dig the fact that the A30 had audio outs and a headphone amp built-in. None of the other PCR line has this feature. Does anyone know of a replacement for this model? Another manufacturer? Or should I still pick up one used to control Reason? Best. Members sevensinner
didn't that model have a full blown audio interface? i'm willing to bet those controllers would sell a whole lot better if they were branded as Roland instead of Edirol... Members gruvjack
It's the same reason Fender sells entry level guitars named Squier. There has to be a clear cut distinction. V.
Members Fancy Fingers
I didn't know it was discontinued - I have had my eye on that one. Other keyboards with built-in audio interface are made by Novation X-Station, Alesis Photon and M-Audio Ozone. Check out respective websites for more info. Members Mook
Perhaps because the PCR line (the 30 at least) had a problem with the keybeds?
Members r33k
Really? What was the issue?

Result - I will never buy an Edirol device again!
Members r33k
Thanks for the heads-up. There's a guy selling an A30 locally for $120, which seems fair. Maybe I'll go test it out and make sure it doesn't have this issue. How about you Alesis X25 owners? I heard of some WinXP driver issues early on. Have these been worked out? Thanks all,
