Members sevensinner
I went to Guitar Center today and bought the E-Mu Xboard25 for $99 + tax. So far, my initial impression is that it's a heck of a lot better than the M-Audio Oxygen8 I ebayed this past summer. The Proteus-X Le software VST is pretty decent for a freebie and seems to work just fine in Sonar. They also had the Xboard49 for $115 and the M-Audio Keystation Pro 88 for $299. They also had the Oxygen8 for $99 for what it's worth...

Members sevensinner
Mainly the key/keybed action on the Xboard is a lot better in my opinion than the Oxygen. The knobs feel about the same, the buttons on the Xboard are pretty crappy, but I don't really use them much anyway. A plus is that it was easy enough to get me productive without reading the manual. I use this to plug notes into the sequencer - I have other keyboards for playing "real parts" and I think this serves its purpose pretty well. And it was priced at a point that I feel is more than worth it.
Members midi
I got one at G.C today and the lowest was $111 + tx, still a good deal? And is there anyway to use the LE sounds without other software?
