It is a 2 channel head with a footswitchable solo boost with a seperate gain. The clean channel is almost fender like, it's that good which is hard to believe with the ammount of gain the second channel can produce. The second channel is like a tighter plexi/jcm800 hybrid. The amp has 4 stages of gain so no boost pedals needed here. It also has a low focus knob on the back. It is also equipped with a tube buffered effects loop and a seperate level control which is mounted on the front of the amp to act like another master when the loop is engaged.
