Members nuthing
SOLD SOLD SOLD Hi, I have a 1 year old Mesa Boogie Roadster Dual Rectifier combo amp 2x12 for sale. What i want is to upgrade to a Mesa Roadking head and 2x12 cab. Anyone got a Roadking series 2 head they would like to trade for a roadster combo? I purchased it new from GuitarCenter a year ago for $2200. These have sold on eBay used for $1,700. I am willing to sell it for $1700 plus shipping OBO Cash or Paypal The amp is in perfect condition with no scratches or dents. The combo amp was bought due to a major case of GAS and has never left the house and I have all the paperwork and items that came with it. I since have not taken any GAS medicine, hence the desire to get the roadking. I have a few small pieces of masking tape on the grill (see snap) to mark the speaker cones for mic placement. These can be easily removed. I like the amp quite a bit, it gives pretty good cleans on channel 1 with a decent Marshall crunch on channel 2. Using an overdrive pedal to push channel 3 makes the Marshall impression better. Channel 3 and 4 are the usual dual rectifiers. It has 4x6L6, 6x12AX7, 2x5U.. The 6L6 can be swapped for EL34 to get a crunchier tone. However this would cause the cleans to breakup into overdrive sooner.
