Members ROLDE DU'BAGE Posted May 4, 2010 Members Share Posted May 4, 2010 Have a mint condition Avatar Contemporary 2x12 with Celestion G12k-100's wired to 8 ohms (the speakers are 16 ohms) with the Celestion tag still hanging on the side handle. I love this cab and the speakers, but need to upgrade to a 3/4 or full stack. We could possibly do a trade as is. Or, if you want to have two of your speakers in the Avatar, you can take out 2 of your speakers (as long as they are 16 ohms like mine) and I can take out the G12k-100's and mix them in. This way, the shipping weight would decrease significantly for both of us. But for this to work at all, your speakers need to be 16 ohms. Its no big deal if your not interested. All I need in order to complete a 3/4 stack is two 8 ohm speakers, so I am no dire need for this to happen...just an idea! Please PM me. thanks...
