Several mods have been done to improve the tone. Gain stage has been structured to be smoother with less gain and bass(this is a good thing on this amp). Tone stack has been modded to be more open(alot more options, less bass, more chime). Reverb has been tamed(even on 10 its not spacey, but usable). All mods have been done professionally. Components replaced are better than factory spec. All solder joints are strong and have been tested. This amp blows a stock V-18 out of the water. The cleans sound like an AC-30 on steroids and the gain is very Marshally(yep..that's a word). Only wanting to trade because this amp sound amazing with humbuckers but won't play nice with my Strat on the gain channel. Plug in my LP, and its balls to the wall. Interested in other tube amps. Classic 30 Classic 50 Super Champ XD Carvin Vintage series Traynor or ??? I have cash to add to the right trade. References available & paypal confirmed. Thanks!
