Based of a vintage Fane speaker design, the sound can be compared to a more efficient, refined V30. Smoother mid spike, with more presence in the high end, but a drop off around 18k to avoid sharpness. Great speaker for those that want everything great about a V30, but with all the negatives addressed and worked out. Only come in 8ohm, and the ring a gasket on the speaker is heavy duty; which is to say, it's 2-3x as thick as a celestion, and may need longer screws to mount into your amp.
