I am a Mesa Boogie endorsed artist - everything Mesa in the rig backed by Mesa still. The cab is nearly new, and the power amp has 8 brand new tubes in it - just serviced by Mesa late last year. My POD is my guitar preamp. I have spent a long time developing a suitable live sound - and I'll gladly walk you through why this setup is so expansive and powerful. Also - I'd love to tell you why I chose this as a preamp over the AxeFX. I used to play a Mesa Dual Recto, and used a switcher to switch effects, in and out of the FX loop - all via MIDI of course.. and now since switching to the POD, I only ever need to use the FBV shortboard. It does everything from controlling the POD fx, to being a full fledged MIDI controller (with the POD being what is sending the signals). This has replaced my having to have guitar stompboxes on the floor in front of me. I still use them in my signal chain, but they live in the rack - untouched and safe. I switch in and out of them with ease via the POD and my switcher. You're encouraged to come and preview this rig at my studio -- I am willing to separate. Do not make offers, I won't reply. If you show with cash in hand, we can price talk then. With that said - I am an endorsed artist, and all of what I'm selling is severely discounted from the retail prices. Everything is in perfect / near perfect condition. The power amp has been safely rackmounted, and the ears have not been bent (like every single other one of its kind). There is a little paint chipped at the top portion of the faceplate - not seen while rackmounted. Cab tolex and grill are perfect. POD and floorboard, both perfect.
