Members tdempsey
Hi gang, if this isn't a "sticky" candidate, I don't know what is. I have switched to guitar/keys from bass and joined a new band playing southern rock/country rock and the stock sounds in my JV-1080 are "long in the tooth". Haven't had complaints from my bandmates, I just want richer sound, greater polyphony. I am leaning towards a rack-based module since I have a competent MIDI contoller. But I would consider a deal on a rugged board. Priority is piano sounds/honky tonk type - but obviously killer B3 tones are needed. I once had the Kurz. ME-1 and sold it, since it had no Hammond sounds. Budget is bet. $400-600. Please help with any pointers. Thanks!
Members King Julian
The kurz PC2r would be the obvious choice here. I assume you were happy with the pianos in thge ME-1. The PC2r has hammonds although I would not say they are its strongest suit (iuse my roland VK-7 for organ). Can be had second hand for $400-600.John
