Members InsideLookinOut Posted February 25, 2006 Members Share Posted February 25, 2006 Okay, I'll explain. I purchased a #69 Andromeda a few months ago from someone on Ebay for $2000.00. When I opened the Ups delivered box I noticed a piece of plastic broken off the endbell and tiny dent in the chassis on the bottom on the side of the modwheel. i plugged it in and to make sure everything worked. It plays perfect, but the value is lower becuase someone dropped it before I received it. I contacted the seller who sent it from a UPS store. I could have gotten a new A6, but I wanted that one. Fast forward to about 1 1/2 months later after many faxes, pictures and a repairmans' letter stating it's not fixable I received a $2000.00 check for the about I insured the A6. I've now spent the last week enjoying the brand new PEK I purchased from GC for $2100.I just put some black tape over the less than 1/2 inch gash and enjoy the two best modern poly analogs.
