Members Macblah-1
Ok, so here's my first contribution to this great new lesson forum, let me know what you think... It's about he melodic minor modes, get the .ptb here . My intention was to convey the unique sound and harmonies of the E melodic minor scale, so the fingerings are very simple, I just moved a one octave fingering up the neck starting on the 5th fret on tha A string. I then added some chord voicings to go with the modes. Just click the 'Chord Diagram List' button to view the voicings/fingerings. edit: The final Dmaj7 chord/scale is not a part of the E mel.min scale. It just demonstrates how a D altered chord (tritone substitution for the V7 chord in the key of D) and the corresponding altered scale beautifully resolve to a Dmaj7 chord.
