That reminds me of a recent meeting with some do-it-yourself synthesizer folks (meeting over a weekend with wall-sized frankenstein style modular analog synthesizers..) One of them was into 80 cent scales. That's 15 notes per octave.. He even did a pice of music with his friends in this scale.. It sounds strange to our ears, but not bad.
