Members juallhuce
i'm tired of playing to top three strings of my guitar. i'm not looking for any alternate tunings or anything. i'm mostly play heavier stuff, and i'm sure not everyone in here plays that and everything but oh well. I'm just looking for new ways of playing, i don't know... this post makes no sense at all, I know that. But if some genius in here can make even a smidgen of sense out of what i just said...please help me out. juallhuce@msn.com
Members Little Pete
You could learn a few solos, most of them will be on the thinner strings. Playing normally though, try jamming with another guitarist (or recording your own backing track) and playing chords in a higher register than him (or her). Here's a coupla shapes to help, you can slide them up or down to get some new chords.ive put them major then minor.it goes D shape,A shape, E shape E:-2---1------1---1------5---5-------- B:-3---3------3---2------5---5-------- G:-2---2------3---3------7---5-------- D:-------------------------8---8-------- A:---------------------------------------- E:----------------------------------------
