Members Parallex
I've been playing guitar for 14 years now, and I've just started playing some U2 stuff recently. Learning The Edge's guitar style is good for your theory in my opinion, because you have to have rapid strumming (basically straight sixteenths) but you also have to do it very cleanly and precisely. However, one problem I've found is the pick tends to gradually rotate in my fingers and eventually I'm hitting the strings with hardly any pick, and i have move it back in position which leaves results that aren't as clean. Any suggestions on a good pick gripping technic for this type of scenario?
Members Gui
I score my picks on both sides with a blade to improve grip. You might also try a slightly softer pick.
Members adamdevo
If your playing a song with alot of strumming use a thinner pick, it glides through the strings easier.
