What are the scales used (and keys) in "Far Beyond the Sun"?

I'm working towards learning this piece. I first need to get my skills up in the scales and keys of the song so that the fast runs aren't shocking to my musical mind and fingers. I need those scales to be second nature, basically.

I don't have the music, and I don't have a $ to my name to buy it.

Can someone help me out by outlining the scales and keys of the various parts of the song so that I can work towards learning it?

Thanks.

I haven't learned the whole song yet, but I know that there are a couple of descending diminished arpeggios at the start. Its a cool tune, and I keep meaning to sit down and learn it, by ear or by TAB...Ill probably have to resort to the latter...

Considering its Malmsteen....go with harmonic minor scales and diminished arpeggios and that would pretty much cover it. If I figure anything else out tho, Ill be sure to post it.

Here's a powertab of the song taken from the tab book

I can sit down and analyze it for you but I don't have the time right now.

Maybe some other day.

It isn't really that hard to analyze.

Just see what chords or riff that is being played that he is soloing over and you will soon understand what is going on theoretically.
