I learned the intro of american woman in openG..never learned the rest of it tho...it might be easier in openG also. Floyd's "fearless" from meddle is in openG. zeppn's that's the way is the only of theirs I play in openG (tho i'm sure there's more).... I'm almost positive george thoroughgood (sp :( ) spends most of his time in openG...but I'm not basing that on anything more than hearing him on the radio how he always does the quick I-IV-I-bIII-I variations and throws in the slide up to 12th all the time. But that could be any open tuning really.
