holdsworth theory

remember the holdsworth video? he has a bunch of scales he uses over a D chord, similar to the lydian cromatic concept

does any body have those scales written down or know whear to find them on line

i forgot them but would like to go over them again

please help if you can

Holdsworth is a great player. However, his approach to melody and harmony are not necessarily revolutionary. Additionally, being self-taught, his approach to explaining theory tends to be terse and convoluted. (He'll admit this himself). If you're interested in advanced harmony, check out some of Jerry Bergonzi's or Hal Galper's books or transcribe some of Mike Brecker's stuff. FWIW, Brecker happens to be one Allan's favorite players.

yea thanks man
i remember the video from years ago, i worked out what he was saying, but i was interested in some of his scales from the video, i am interested in advanced harmony. i remember he transposed some of the lydian cromatic concept scales into his own terse and convoluted theory but wanted to look at them again
