Members anti-flag193 Posted June 26, 2006 Members Posted June 26, 2006 It's nothing ground breaking. I was doing that before I new mustaine did it. It's like common sense.

Members The Burninator Posted November 1, 2007 Members Posted November 1, 2007 Here's a riff: e------------------------------B------------------------------G------------------------------D---4--------------------------A---2----5---------------------E--------3--------------------- Use your index and ring finger to play the B5 power chord, for the G5 power chord use you middle finger and your pinky. That's spider riffing.

Members kaka Posted November 2, 2007 Members Posted November 2, 2007 yes it is. but i happened to watch that video lately. so thought it would be nice to reply under an existing thread instead of makin a new one. well this link also shows a pattern but not much. http://metaltabs.com/forum/printthread.php?t=20690
Members Bysler Posted November 6, 2007 Members Posted November 6, 2007 I though the "spider riff" was the intro riff of Master Of Puppets, because when you're playing it, the fretting hand takes the shape of a spider-like. I'm talking about this riff of MOP: e------------------------------B------------------------------G------------------------------D------------------------------A------2----3----4------------E--0-1--0-1--0-1--0-1---------
