Members PRSnotPOS
I don't have much time but to make a long story short I took my guitar to get setup because I was getting too much fret buzz. Got it back... and it still buzzes. So I try to fix it myself. I tinkered with the action but that didn't do much. The only thing that seemed to fix the fret buzz wa adjusting the truss rod. The fret buzz seems to go away when I put a little (and I do mean little) forward bow on it. So I'm asking... or a little bow a bad thing?? To be honest I think it will be alright but give me your opinions.
Members PRSnotPOS
Oh wait... I just found a good article apparently bow is normal to have. That make's me feel better. Article "Sadly the ideal parallel lines are rather hard to achieve due to the fact that when your strings vibrate they vibrate in an elliptical shape with the most movement in the middle (12th fret), which means that usually some bow is necessary." Members bman9922
You can go to the PRS website and check the specs on your guitar. They will give you the optimal settings for the neck bow and how to measure it.
