Members ezstep Posted December 2, 2007 Members Share Posted December 2, 2007 He learned from good teachers - Merle Travis, Chet Atkins, etc. There are several guys around who still play the "thumbpicker" style of music, including Tommy Emmanuel, Richard Smith, Eddie Pennington, etc. There are lessons online as well.
