Members The Burninator Posted August 26, 2008 Members Share Posted August 26, 2008 Putting your hand on the bridge can be anchoring and it can also be justresting it there, it depends on how hard you press it. I generally float my picking hand, but I do rest it lightly on or near the brigdeto prevent unwanted string noise (not only chugga-chugga kinda palm muting).If I anchor too hard crossing between strings becomes harder, or should I say - sloppier.
