Members JonR Posted June 8, 2011 Members Share Posted June 8, 2011 Yes. It should really be written in any of the following ways, to avoid confusion: 7aug 7+ 7#5 Don't confuse with 7+9 or maj7#5. "7+9" is jazz shorthand for 7#9 - with a perfect 5th, although the chord may sometimes contain an altered 5th (depends on context).
