Members windmill
This is one of Polish Paul's finds Which I finally finished working through. http://cnx.org/content/m11466/latest/ It is set of lessons in musical appreciation, mainly using classical music examples but some jazz and pop, in short snippets to illustrate concepts and methods. It is very good as an introductory course. The Yale "Listening to Music" lecture series that PP also found for us covers the same territory but as a series of 22 X 50 minute lectures which also uses the same approach. http://oyc.yale.edu/music/listening-to-music/content/downloads I would recommend this over Sound Reasoning due to the depth of explanation given during each lecture but the Sound Reasoning course can be dipped into and out of when time is limited. So I recommend both to everybody
