Members germs Posted July 16, 2009 Members Share Posted July 16, 2009 You're sort of shooting yourself in the foot with that X3. All of Line6's products are designed to primarily be preamps. The effects are just for flavoring. The easy thing to do is to create some patches yourself with the amp sims off and the effects on. But that's pretty counter-intuitive. That is, it's a waste of processing power. It would seem that you would like to use the amp's natural tones and use a multiFX for effects? Sell the POD and get a BOSS ME or GT series.
