Members aliensporebomb
The new Flember Fibson has four whammy bars, 18 humbucking pickups and a V8 engine. Highest tech WHAT? It's a little unspecific.
Members nickeroo
Moog's pretty high tech. Teuffel, too.

Members girevik
Rolf Spuler was talking about the Firewire guitar he'd been working on as far back as 2005: http://www.rolfspuler.comBut Gibson obviously beat him to it - the Dark Fire is an impressive technological achievement - it's got the servo motors for physical retuning of the guitar to various preset tunings, the Firewire interface, MIDI, etc. There were some complaints about bugs but a guy on the VG-99 Yahoo group recently was hired by Gibson to fix those bugs.Fred Carlson, inventor of the Sympitar, lately got the MIDI bug - this monstrosity has an RMC hex pickup system under both the main playing strings and the sub-bass strings - 12 total MIDI/VG capable strings plus a ridiculous number of other strings. If you have to ask how much it costs, you can't afford it. I've heard the asking price dwarf's Belew's Parker.http://www.beyondthetrees.com/NDtext.html
