In the meantime Im thinking about my next project: I want to build a switching system for amp channel selection + effects...It would have send/return jacks for each stompbox, and for the amp's footswitch. Then Ill have five foot buttons (programable presets), each of them has a DIP switch like this:http://www.banzaimusic.com/DIP-06-Switch.htmlto select the desired effects and amp channel for each preset... I want to make it very simple, as I dont have any knowledge in electronics. This is just about making a circuit that the switches open or close... like an advanced footswitch (which is really easy to build)So is it possible?Is there a simple program to use to make the diagrams?What do I need to take into considerations when choosing the switches, cables, etc?
