Members YngwieReid Posted July 1, 2010 Members Share Posted July 1, 2010 I just purchased a Line 6, POD X3 Live. I want to use this unit mainly to record. I tried recording usb and was getting noticable latency, so I figured it may have just been a monitoring issue. I'm connected POD x3 > usb > pc. When I connect the phones > amp or speakers I get crazy noise. However when I unplug the usb from the pc it goes away. In other words, I only get noise from the phones jack when I'm connected usb to pc. Besides this issue, what is the best way to record? Should I buy a fire wall unit that supports S/PDIF, and run; POD x3 > SPDIF > Firewall > usb > pc ? Thank you greatly for your time, Newf Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
