Members teleflyguy Posted June 15, 2005 Members Share Posted June 15, 2005 There's an effect on the guitar on a lot of Chris Tomlin's records (he's a Christian artist, BTW) that I can't identify. It sounds kind of phasey, but it's not a phaser. It sounds kind of flangy, but's it's not a flanger. My hunch is it may be a vibe, but it doesn't sound like a typical vibe. You can hear it on "Your Grace is Enough" and "More Than Enough" and a lot of others. Anyone know what i'm talking about? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

There's more than one electric on that song, but the effect is heard on the single notes in the verse. It sounds a little bit "wah-ish" but it's not a wah.
