Members Tommy Gunz
This might be a long shot, but I'm looking for something that will allow me to do an effect similar to the intro of the song 'I-76' by GLove & Speical Sauce. I think he used a talkbox or a vocoder. While searching on the internet, I came across a few devices and pro-tools plug-ins and listen to their sound clips, they're close by not quite like the one in the song. The one I've checked out are Akai DC Vocoder, ProSoniq Orange Vocoder and Dunlop Heil 'Talkbox'. I read that Digitech Talker is good, but can't find any clips (or even an acutal unit to buy). Also, their mult-fx unit GNX2 which has the Talker intergrated, but again, can't find any clips. Does anyone else has any recommendation?
Members AcousticControl
the Talker is the easiest to use live -- actual Talkboxes are kind of a bitch -- but i've had two Talkers and gotten rid of them both. they're adequate, but not amazing.
