Members RoboPimp
here's a clip I did into a perfectly clean amp as you can tell from the beginning (JTM45) I think it's a decent tone for $25 bucks! click here

Members critters
I think that Doug Martsch and Bill Frisell have also used the Daddy-O at one time or another. BTW, last time I saw Frisell he was using a DOD FX-25 and it sounded great...
Members RoboPimp
heh, yeah I got one of those too. doesn't everyone want the 50s amp w/ speaker blowing up sound?
Members Happy_Thom
I dunno I htink it sounds pretty cool but not 'authentic' 50's tube sound. sounds like a modern overdrive to me not a fuzz or a distortion but it feels like it fills out your sound a lot more than you'd expect an overdrive to do. Members desertlimosine
yesssssssss! Danno Daddy-o is my main distortion/overdrive. I think at max it has a fuzzy characteristic, and can be made to sound sludgy as hell: vol:1 o'clock bass: all the way up Mids: all the way up treb: 1 o'clock overdrive: 3 o'clock i also boost mine with a TS-9. Awesome sounding pedal! It's cool to see others enjoying it too! I've had mine now since around 1998 i think.

Members DragonFire
Sounds ace fair play. I've just started messing around with recording at home. Someone at work gave me cubasis because they hated it and I've only just started using it. I don't have a mic yet so my PC is sitting in the FX Loop of my Ashdown Combo. Sounds ok but I need to start thinking about getting some better stuff.
