Members Hopeless Romantic
I just picked up a MJM London Fuzz this week. I think I like it but I am not sure. It is really wooly and fuzzy like I expected. I guess I am not that great at dialing in a sound I like. I had a Big Muff and I enjoyed it but it was too much. I guess I thought I would be able to get close to the "I am the man who loves you" song. I am playing a strat or artcore through it. Any suggestions on getting some good tones out of this? I mean I am not getting bad tones, maybe my sights were set too high...
Members Kelly
Never tried one, all though they were all the rage a couple years ago here. I still like my Fulltone '69. With the bias, contour, and trimmer I can get a myriad of Fuzz Face tones. Best advice I can give with a real fuzz is use a low gain tube amp. They don't seem to work real well with solid-state or high gain channels.
Members Hopeless Romantic
Hmm... I wish I had a decent tube amp. My amp sounds very nice slightly broken up though and I can't really afford a new amp unless it was a Valve Jr or something.
