Members Megadeth7684 Posted September 19, 2005 Members Share Posted September 19, 2005 I currently use my POD XT in the loop of both my amps (Peavey 5150 and Engl Blackmore) just for effects, mainly just reverb and delay. I don't use the POD for anything else, so it's kind of a waste. I want to downgrade to something cheaper and sell the POD. Can anyone suggest a cheap reverb/delay pedal that will sound decent? Members Lorax Posted September 19, 2005 Members Share Posted September 19, 2005 In my experience - NOTHING beats the Holy Grail for quality reverb....Its amazing and cost less than $100 new....Digiverb gets good raves, but really the difference in prices I see cant possibly offset the great Holy Grail - which is also true bypass - but hey, its usually on anyways For delay - alot of pro rigs have the BOSS DD-3 in them....Hard to argue with that sort of recommendation - again - easily under $70-$100 used.....IMO, these provide the best VALUE - quality vs price ratio.....not necessarily the cheapest....
