Pele?) but i know these guys somehow stole the 60's and recorded them this year...arguably cooler. Anyone know what kinda gear? Particularly the fuzz. It is the pinnacle of authenticity! Members moonhead Posted September 27, 2005 Members Share Posted September 27, 2005 when I saw em in chicago he had two fuzzes (at least) and a really brilliant tape echo machine which i cannot recall the make. it was old and large and not an echoplex. he plays through a big old marshall head (white) there a picture of it in my previous dungen thread (do a search?) he had a fuzz face and a roger mayer stone fuzz I believe. the mayer was the killer to my ears. super thick and creamy. might have been an old mxr box in there too somehwere. yer right though, his concern for the "vintage" tone is paramount. guy spent too much time {censored}ing with his pedals though. otherwise a brilliant show.
