Members harbong Posted October 1, 2005 Members Share Posted October 1, 2005 I own a DL4 and have been using the loop function a lot with my band, especially the play once function for triggering short loops. I still want to use the delays that are in my presets, also though. I'm thinking about getting another dl-4 for the looping but i was wondering if any other loopers in that price range have the play once capability, it seems most don't. any others? AMAZING. but i wanted 2 things. 1. more time. 2. erase overdubs. and they did it. so i sold the 20, and picked up the rc20xl. never regretted it. it is capable of '1shot' loop phrases. They are great but some of the functionailty is not accesable from the two built in foot switches. you need to get the additional switches to unlock all the features. I would recommend you really check this out if you need the foot switches... If you are thinking high end then the Oberheim/Gibson Echoplex Digital Pro Plus is the way to go... Very dated with the loop time (memory) these days but still the best feature set.. I have been trying to pick one up for over a year now but I keep geting outdone on EBAY.
