Usually in a an ensemble that large, acoustic single note solos tend to get lost unless the soundman is pretty darned astute, or unless the other musicians are unusually sensitive and know when to drop out or change playing levels. I wasn't counting on either, so I thought the Octron might add some thickness to help me stand out. Man was I right! That, combined with a little DL-4 here and there, made for quite an enjoyable gig, and lots of compliments afterwards. This thing's a keeper! I have heard great things about it.It is cool your gig went well.I know there is a waiting list. I doubt I'll find one for a test drive. Maybe, some vendor at the Arlington Guitar Show will have one!
