It's a lot more beautiful than I think it is on a day to day basis. Valleys are so much more picturesque than flatlands. Members fernmeister Posted October 13, 2005 Members Share Posted October 13, 2005 my "hometown" is the southern suburbs of sydney and it can disappear into the pacific ocean for all I care. but yes, most people fail to take advantage of things their city has to offer. I live in Delhi now and there are some amazing old forts that are shoddily maintained, seldom visited and generally disregarded. however, they are fascinating place to visit, as long as you have water-tight boots and a big stick.
