Members Six Degrees
Hey everyone- I don't post here too often, but I'm a regular visitor. I'm wondering if you could help me out. Currently, I play a Mesa Boogie Mark IV with pedals in the effects loop. Now, I'm running the pedals out to my pedalboard, where they're powered by a standard power strip. Here's my problem. I really don't like clutter near my feet when I'm playing. And my current setup is not so fun when it comes to setting up; I have two cables (send/receive) for the effects loop, one cable for the footswitch for the amp, one cable for the powerstrip, and one cable into the amp (from my pedalboard, since I send my signal through a wah before the amp). I've considered doing a lot to tidy this mess up, from rearranging my pedals, to using a rack unit with one big footswitch, to using a smaller footswitch, etc. and I'm sure that there's an option that'll work for me. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks! -SD
Members Jeremy Skrenes
I think there is a company that makes these pedalboard snakes. Maybe it's George Ls, I can't remember. Anyway, they put signal cables, fx loop, power supply, etc., all in one cable. It might do the trick for you. Try searching the George L website. Members krazeexharhar
I have almost the exact same setup...ther'es not really much you can do except either go wireless or tie cables together (like the loop return/send cables)...I say live with it and just make sure you're keeping your cables tidy when you store them.
