Members Woody777
I play in a straight modern rock band. I play a lot of clean and do a fair amount of lead/solo work. Would I benefit from a compressor? I've never used one. And toss out some suggestions... right now I'm thinking Keeley.
Members Lensrock
I just got my Homebrew CPR compressor in the mail today. I love it. Has a very nice warm sound to it. I a/b it against a demeter compulator in the store and im my opinion it completely killed the demeter. I believe its a clone of the Ross circuit, like the Keeley, but im not all to sure about that. At any rate its a great compressor and adds nice sustain and harmonics to my tone. Phil

Members Idlewilde
I think if you just want something for solos a line booster of some sort would do nicely.
Members Arjae
Check out the Squeeze Factor from www.tonefactor.com. I just got one and it is really cool. Compressor/limiter and boost in one pedal. And only $129.

I'm actually looking for something to inprove my tone overall - mostly rythym actually. I already have a treble booster that I use to boost solos. Members bluez4u
Barber Tone Press is the way to go.. wet/dry and you can use it as a compressor with boost of turn the mix down and use it just just to boost. at about 165 bucks I think its the best out there, hands down. I've had mine for a year now after going thru several diff comps. This takes the cake and I use it for clean, high gain, my acoustic etc...KJR
