Members exploradorable
Check out the sound samples for the Electro Harmonix Poly Octave. Bit pricey. $300-ish but very intriguing. Sound samples on Musician's Friend and the EH site. Probably others if you look.
Members workinclasszero
The POG does the organ thing really well and it can sound pretty amazing if you mix in a vibe or phase. I'll sell you mine for $275.
Members IndofunkCity
I got a real great organ sound with my 2 PS3's and a leslie sim on my MM4. PS3 #1 Mode 9 - slight detune + 1 octave up PS3 #2 Mode 10 - one octave up + one octave down MM4 Leslie sim on 50%http://www.konakkol.com/music/other/organ-better.mp3 Here it is without the MM4:http://www.konakkol.com/music/other/organ.mp3 Basically, if you can get an octave up, chorus, then an octave up & octave down, that should get you there. That is, only if you have those pedals available to you. Otherwise go the POG route...
Members phyrexia
H&K Rotosphere made me think "organ". One of my friends has one between a Strat and a Twin Reverb.
Members exploradorable
You know for $300 you can buy a decent Yamaha or Casio keyboard with 50 different organ sounds plus a whole bunch of other sounds.
Members mukuzi
try an envelope filter thrown in there as well
Members hookstrapped
The Octron can give you the harmonies (clean, octave up, octave down). I bet with the pulsing of a vibe you'd be very close
Members elctmist
Also turn down treble on guitar, use small chord voicings with a separate bass line, fingers not pick, slides not bends.

Members phishmarisol
Yeah if I had the cash right now I'd grab that POG...that is really one of the very last things I need in my rig...I still lack many essentials and I consider that extra. Um, for $30 you could have a good eighties Yamaha PSR (the organs on those were nice), for $300 you could buy a Roland Juno-60 or a Juno-106. No substitute for it unless you want to get into guitar synths that require their own pickups and modules. I love mine.

Yeah, but most people here don't play keys. I love the sounds of a good organ but I want to achieve it (or something close) with my guitar. Members Lanefair
Octron into a leslie sim gives a mental organ sound. It's only monophonic, but if you finger tap you can get some mad organ lines.

Members dotlikeimpact
i'm thinking about the pog in the near future, but, i can't try it out first. what about the detractions i've heard about it? noise? bypass problems?

Good organ sounds plus piano, strings and all the other XG sounds. If you are recording into VST compatible sequencer you can forget the MU90 and get Linplugs DaOrgan instead. Members 5F1G
Seriously, you should wait until Boss releases the RT-20 this November. The demo I watched/heard from the NAMM show was in-{censored}ing-credible. At 225 smackers, I think it's a steal. Weigh all your options.
