Members Six Degrees
Hey everyone- I've been thinking about some sort of power conditioner/regulator for a small rack that I'm in the process of building and noticed that Furman has a new(ish) Power Factor Pro R Rack conditioner. I'm wondering, what makes this different from the more expensive AR-1215, and is the extra cash worth it? Thanks in advance! -SD
Members shepherdspy
the 1215 is the one to get - it is has real regulation. it will clean you up and get you near 120V. the other one does not do voltage regulation.
Members dinrodef
Hrmmm... I've wondered about the power factor pro myself I've got the 1215 and it definately works. It's really lightweight too and fits neatly inside a small skb efx rack. Clean power, tube amps sound great... my pedals don't hum anymore

Members LOOPJUNKIE
Hey, so i have the power factor pro. I have to say i really like it A LOT. It brought back the punch and clarity I was missing when gigging and at practice. If you run enough amps the power gets all sucked down? I don't know but this thing is really good! don't know about the whole regulated power thing the way i see it; this thing is about infinity better then a power strip! but its like 10 pounds i don't know if that's because of the "clear tone technology" thing but i like it.
